This years All Saints Church Summer Garden Party was held with kind permission, at the home of Cannon and Mrs Frank Levick. The weather forecast for the day had been wet, but fortunately the rain stayed away and for the most part it was sunny and warm. The opening ceremony was performed by Methodist Steward John Wells at 2pm.
There were the usual bottle, cake, bric-a-brac and plant stalls, along with pick a parcel and guess the pigs name, the Lions Club also had a stall. There were tombola, raffle prizes and a food hamper to be won. Refreshments of delicious homemade cakes and tea or coffee were available and background music played throughout the afternoon.
Despite numbers attending being down on the day, £961.75p was raised for the Church Funds. Grateful thanks go to Canon and Mrs Frank Levick and to all those who attended, supported and helped in any way with the event making the day such a success.
